The Byrkje well has spud (PL 607)

With reference to the PL607 Operators’ (GdF Suez) press release Concedo has the following information: On Friday 28 February the drilling rig Transocean Barents came on contract for GDF SUEZ E&P Norge AS to drill the exploration well 7218/8-1 Byrkje in PL 607. Transocean Barents has finished it’s operation at 7222/11-2 Langlitinden i PL 659. The well was spud 2 March.  The area in this licence consists of parts of the blocks 7218/8, 7218/9 and 7219/7. The drilling operation is expected to last for 47 days.
